That's the Uno bloodline. Mostly, you'll see in the web is kyokai bloodline.

Well, I'm not too sure about Uno's history but |NaganoLiewKun will know best. You can note that their fish is focus a lot in color and head growth. body is weaker than Kyokai bloodline (my point of view) and i think swimming is not that important.... I'm not very sure... but above mentioned is roughly what i've gather regarding Uno bloodline.

Their color and head is sooooo beautiful, isn't it?

Thanks for the info,
Infact i don't mind hv this Uno bloodline and make a crossed with the Kyokai bloodline. This can improved both bloodline and created a new bloodline. What is ur suggestion?.

hahahhaa...

what you gonna name them? u-kai bloodline?... just kidding

If you do that, you'll loose the unique charecteristic of the bloodline. big big head does not mean good in kyokai judging and strong body means nothing to uno judging method. what if you got the weakness of both bloodline in the new one... hahahah... that will be interesting....

no offence bro, just kidding hehehhe

Hi Titus,

Great to have you here. Unfortunately, we have KIV the manual cos due to time and yet we got new information almost monthly that supersedes old techniques. If the manual to be completed, it'll take another 1-2 years until we get the whole thing finalised. We thought it would be easy during the start (it was 2 years ago) and it seems there're TONs of info to put it... but definately, your name will be on the list once it is readied.... many many months later..

By the way, if you read thru all the sticky thread, you'll realise how things and techniques evolves thru time. And, there'll be more information to come in the future too...

Hope you enjoy your time here and have fun. We'll be glad to have some share of your thoughts too.

WELCOME!

Cheers.

Hi yeemiau, pardon me for my newbie question, is japanese ranchu refering to top view ranchu?
I would like to learn more about this but I think the major problem is the price and where to get them. Don't really see them around in local lfs.

Would definitely look to help contribute in this forum

Was reading thru the sticky thread on your kurrukos. Really exciting and fun seeing everyone come in to share and exchange progress. If only Ipoh is much nearer to Singapore instead of the Thai border. Can join in the fun.

Am picking up a few tips here and there from the wealth of info posted. Now to wait for some local breeders here to spawn. Then can have some bbrs to practice practice
