It is made of fibreglass, 2 layer bonded with resin. non-toxic.

Need to lay it on block of wood or some form of support. the outlet pipe can lead to anywhere you like (to drain normally). Just chop a 2" PVC pipe and stuff it in that "hole". The length of the PVC pipe can control the water level. During water change, just pull off the PVC pipe and all water will be drained.

We copied this from some Japanese design. They are selling it way way beyond our "affordable" price range, so we approach some fibreglass factory and ask them to develop a mould for it. Furthermore, Japanese ones normal material is either PU or PE so it will get brittle after some time under the sun, so we choose fibreglass; it can last longer and stronger.

Actually, this is not solely for ranchu, any other goldfish also can but shallow water might not be ideal for Ryukin.

by the way, not all of these is mine, only 4, the rest belongs to other members of my group... we ordered in bulk ( a minimum volume of 6-10 required in order for those big boss to start work.)

even with bulk order, how much is the cost of one?

how bout color choice? it would be great if they can make it black in color. suits my purpose of getting butterfly moor in assorted colors...hehe....

i like to keep ranchus...tvrs in precise.....not japanese lar...too expensive.....together with colorful telescope eyes like tri-color, calico, red/black, red white as well as pure white........

We got it for 250/each... i guess can squeeze the price down with higher volume. If people interested group up and pick someone to negotiate i guess the price might be lower... (I think KL might have a few but I only know Ipoh ones)

In fibreglass you can have any color you like... rainbow also can. Just the resin plays the trick...

I'm a farm boy... but farm operation stoped in the early 90s. Really had a good childhood there.

tooo bad it is not a fish farm, and not gonna be one cos fish breeders has such a tied down lifestyle... being a hobbist is best... when comes to breeding for business/trading, many will lost their passion towards it; especially dealing with dollar and cents.... So, we'd love to stay away from that area.

cheers
