Hi,
I use to tryto mix up Saki Hikari with JRL and also Hikari Lionhead. Notice that Saki is still the best. JRL is okay but expensive. Hikari (though it's a sinking type) makes my ranchu floaty, not sure why, many ranchu siaou kaki in Singapore feed with JRL. Chroma and Chanko are very expensive and I think you would feed it to the great Japanese ranchu you might own,not for the normal ranchu as I believe the cost would be even higher than the ranchu. If you want good balance food, I think saki is a balance meal with probiotic bacteria , just like our "vitagen" , helps you to sheet properly he!he! and also to kill all the bad virus and keep the fish healthy. I also feed my goldfish with homemade gel, feel free to experiment your self, I mix up fish meal, shrimp, paprika, rice, green peas and some vitamin. Regards, Ryan |
