Hi friends,

Here's some pictures from our side. Can be you reference. You can notice the head with carpet algea. And we don't clean all carpet algea during water change. Maybe half or 1/3.

Have fun!

Initially, when it is very young, it is greenish (so called no colour) then slowly turn black (at the stage of colour change) and Eventually the black fades and colour comes out.

Hi,

Thanks for the support. It's a great fun playing around with those small fellas. I'll do my best to "report" the progress. Hope you'll enjoy! Cheers

Hi Lam,

Even though some fellas are small but they all have big tummies. Mine still need to catch up a lot. Like those fellas a lot.

Changed the water today. And finally moved them to outdoor. Managed to occupy a place with 4 hours direct sunlight for them. Also changed to a bigger tub which can hold around 30+ liters of water. Do hopes the settings are fine for them.

Will update the progress. Thanks.

Default Baby Ranchus acting a bit chicken-hearted

Hi Lam,

My baby ranchus are acting a bit 'chicken-hearted'. This morning when i approach them, them seem to swim away fearfully. However they did finish the food. Yesterday night i made a mistake. I used aquarium light to lighten up the tub and actually did scared them. Please advice. Thanks and best regards.

It shouldn't be a problem. These little fella is sometimes a little sensitive. How about hand feeding them with bloodworm? do they come to you? I think after 1-2 days, they'll be back to normal.

By the way, you put light for them 24 hours last night?

Cheers.

Have not try hand feeding with bloodworm yet. Just throw in the bw. Will try hand feeding tomorrow.
On the light for checking on them only. Just a while. Thanks for advice.
