We r just a group of crazy fella fell in love with Japanses Ranchu...
Not breeder, nothing to do with business related to fish trading... We have our full time job... only thing i've done related to fishie business was manufactured some pumps for aquaculture (lobster farm in Aust). Many big names in Japanese Ranchu society... they r just enthusiast, they don't breed but they take others fish home to groom hoping to become a champion in the future. When you have the passion for it, you won't realise how much you have done to achieve the goal until someone recognise your work.... We are actually doing much less comparing to the Japanese but we will strive to work harder in order to make this Japanese Ranchu a success. Team work is very important. To cover each other when one is too busy to take care of his fish, traveled or factory OT. Don't kira so much since this is only a "hobby" not business. Form a strong bond as a group.... nothing beats this. By the way, we can't breed Japanese Ranchu in Malaysia.

I'need to stress one important point regarding selection of fish, which I've mentioned earlier. We have to do selection on behalf due to various reason.
- We need to stop feeding the fish at least 12 hours before packing; for the safty of transport. Therefore, the fish you'll see mostly likely have a smaller belly. So, we need to take the fish out from the big pond and place them in a tank for quarantine and diet control. We can't effort to stop feeding the whole tank. - We are very confident that the fish you get is at highest quality for the category (family/challenge). Therefore, early bird gets the bigger worms. The rest of the grooming and success will be base on your skill (don't worry, we'll get you covered on this issue) - It is also a Japanese tradition for the breeder to do the selections on set basis packages. Price will be 10X if an induvidual goes to the farm and select his own fish. This is due to during the induvidual selection process, other fish might be hurt/injured. - There are minor details you might not notice but we know what to look for a good piece. The tail, body propotion, swimming, etc... we'll do our best to select on the day before your pick up. I hope this arrangement is acceptable for you.

We are still trying to find reliable transport for those who is ordered but unfortunately, we have not find any so far.
for those who has already placed order, we hope you can come for pick up. Or else, Pilik-Palak will be coming around 24/7 to pick up his fish. He agrees to help and bring it back to KL. For any arrangement, please private message him for arrangement. On the other hand, we deeply hope that you can come here to see everything about the Japanese Ranchu and we'll brief you everything you need to know about grooming them for the current stage. We'll go step by step to avoid any confusion. Also, any Q&A will be in face to face basis, so, there'll be very slim chance of any miscommunication. Thank you.

For those who are going to collect the fish around 22/7 or later, please prepare your tank now for carpet algea growth. At that stage, the babies need to be on full "carpet algea" diet for a while. This is to prepare and strengthen their future wen growth potential.
With the fish, during every water change, you scrub away carpet algew 50% from the tank for fresh ones to grow. The next water change, new ones has grown and scrub the old ones away. Repeat this every time you do water change.

hi yeemiau,
i'm just curious and need your advice. i'm now clearing my area to space for the tank. but i'm not sure: which is it better for the fish, fiber or cement tank/pond. A friend told me the cement tank is good, it's cooler better for GF. So i'm tempting to get a cement tank. I see you guys having some cement tanks..how do you change the water? How many adults can it keep? What do you practice when doing water change? For example if i got only 1 tank, do i change 100%? where can i keep them during that period? If i get the tank within this couple of days, What should i do to prepare the tank ready for them. Where is the best poin to place the tank, under shade or open sky? Fill up tank put anti chlorine, pump in air? Can it be green water and ready within few days? This can be mosqueto breeding tank, ha ha ha...so ned to get da fish quick. Thank you.
