Default Sick Fish

My fish is sick with a bacterial infection, I moved him to a hospital tank filled with orignal tank water from his orignal tank. The ammonia spiked and he nearly died, but haza, I moved him back into the community tank and he is doing betterish, but he is disscolored and still swimming funny. I got medical food, which should cure him, but will the ammonia poisening reaction go away from what I am doing.

Can you not keep the water perfect in isolation? if you can you really should move him back, you dont want to risk passing it on to other fish.
That will also help with the medicated food, as when feeding this, you should not feed anything else, so having him alone would be ideal. Feed the med food exclusively for two weeks.

Default hi

Well, tha ammonia killed him last night, even though he got moved. By the time I moved him into a hosiptal tank, I say one other fish that might have been infected. Now I can posivitvly tell she is. I will NOT treat with Malafix anymore, but I will feed all my fish med food for 10 days, just in case they have it too.
