?? sick red cap ??

Hi everyone, signed up today as have a question...

Bought a large red cap goldfish about a month ago. After introducing a black moor and weed noticed parasites growing on red cap, these were treated and eliminated. After a few days long white threads started coming out of his bum!! It was grose, there was loads of it. These finally disappeared after a week.

It is now several weeks later and this morning he had another long white thig hanging out his bum, bout a foot long it seemed....
IS THIS NATURAL?

Long white poo is usualy a sign of either and internal bacterial infection, or constipation.
Try fasting him for a few days, then feed him boiled de-shelled peas. That should shift his constipation.
If its not that, then you want to look for a good anti bacterial med that treats internally. If you can get hold of any medicated food, feed that and NOTHING ELSE for at least two weeks.
