Let's feel the PAIN!!!.

Maintaining one goldfish aquarium is very enjoyable.when u add another tanks,it's seem o.k.

What about u hv more than 10 to 15 goldfish tanks to maintain.
Do u really enjoyable? or give up the hobby?.

1) Time,
After working hour,get a double check up before bed time while ur children is watching TV and ur wife is waiting for U.
What about when u hv not enough time with ur fish ?,Tomorrow u find out that one of ur tank fish died due to lack of oxygen.All ur hard work throw to the drain.
2)Family problem,
Family waiting for u to join them for dinner,u r buzy changing ur beloved fish water.Wife get angry and start arguing...
The stress when she said that u loved fish more than families... .

What should u do to solve the problem?.

3)Friendship,
Ur relation with ur best or working friend getting very far and far since u r more closer to ur same hobbies friend.

Well, this is a BIG PROBLEM,How to solved this?.

Judging yr post having such great no of tanks, u r hyper-active person/just cann't sit down doing nothing. I think having GF is further better having sports car as a hobby. If you don't keep GF u would propably get something else.

You should change water/filter when yr family asleep/do things without require yr present (watching tv, shopping, etc). Always wife come first then yr GF, with this rule she won't be jealous. Anyway she should be grafeful, hubby having just fish not girl friends.

Yr tanks become multi-national company, u need a delegate some of daily routine to someone (maybe family/neighbour). If no help, got to install equip to auto-do-stuff (WC, feeding etc). Hopefully get yr friend hook on GF too, so friend join-in.

Just fact of life, being having will include burdens & sorrow if nothing will complain being bored to death.

Fish must go with plants so that you dont have to change water so often. Just maintain the filter from time to time and top up with water. I almost never change water already.

Well, I am just a beginner at goldfish, but i already realise that they do need a lot of care(compare with my angelfishies). Further more when problems arise(eg: the goldfish dont look well/sick...), i will feel so worry about them and spend more time observing them and do more frequent water changes...

However I dont have these problems yet since i am still just a student. But my friends feels that i am weird to like fish so much and keep telling them about my fish... ...

Thanks for the greatfull advice,That's actually not happen to me as i 'm still single.My neighbour get the 'shot' actually.Blame me as I brain wash him in2 aquatics .

I do hv problem as my family non of them is aquatics lover .My dad keep fish since his young days.He influnce me to the fish world and now he's gone, so just me alone take his step.

Now ,24 hour and 365 days with fish.Get boring and now try keep other hobbies just not let this fishy thing control my daily routage.

After my friend seen this thread,he still blame me as a DEVIL!!.
But that won't effect our friendship...That's is the good part.

He used to 'lepak' at the pub,now always 'lepak' at my place here.

Atlease his wife know what is he doing.She should thanks me as heard from his friend that he's not a 'kaki lepak pub'....good for him and bad for the pub owner....LoL..
