Hi to all goldfish lovers,

I create this thread so that we can share basic guide in goldfish keeping, where we all can attached information from other website to share among us.

I hope everyone can share their information resources here.

Hope this will also be a good reference for all newbees.

Default Nitrogen Cycle

Nitrogen Cycle: Ammonia - Nitrite - Nitrate
Important to understand this on back of your head especially with goldfishes. The more we feed them, the more and faster the water get polluted and become harzadous for them to live in. So biofilter is compulsary or the harder choise is more frequent waterchange. Other option is to use green water or plant which recycle or consume nitrite & nitrate to grow.

It seems that more goldfish hobbyist changing to green water for grooming thier goldies. Here are some basic info on good & bad thing about greenwater. The effect of using greenwater also shown (before and after).
