Mind to tell us how you can push that far ? 4 cube at 1 feed is really a lot for my tvr. How you can make them so hungry ?

My tvr seem not that hungry, don't eat much

I'm pushing them to take 50g BW per day (as what Yeemiau told); which equal to 12 cubes BW per day.
There are 2 ways to achive that :
1) feed 4 cubes BW at 3 times, or
2) feed 3 cubes BW at 4 times
Now I trying them 4 cubes, but it takes them 30 minits to finish. I may try to give only 3 cubes but at 4 feedings of BW.

One way to make them exited to eat is to wait till they hungry then only you feed them. Like us also, we will not eat alot when we r still full, but a alot when we r very hungry. So need to hold sufficient time (interval) between one feeding to another.

I know when they hungry they will come to the point where I feed them. Don't fix your time to the schedule (must be abit flexible), becoz they need sufficient time to digest all the food they've eaten ealier before they feel hungry again.
For example; BW it will take about 1 hour after last feeding ended (not when you start feeding them) Say u feed them BW at 7am and finish at 7.30, so next feeding should be after 8.30 or even better to hold until 9am not at 8am. At 8 am they have not full digest the BW so they r not hungry yet. Only after all BW in stomach is digested after 8.30 they r hungry, you will see more of the fish coming to the feeding point. Also good to practice feeding only at 1 place/point.

I think our fish are different in size, at this stage their size is critical. Smaller fish have smaller mouth and stomach, this limit the amount they can feed and process. Based on this I'm sure mine are much bigger than yours....I gez about 1 week behind in size.

2 weeks ago my fishes can only take 2 cubes of BW that was cut into smaller pcs. I cut 1 cube into about 6 pcs using knife. And the pellet also I crush ito smaller pcs, becoz it's too big for them, even now also.

I actually don't know how early is too early but some of us here do wake up around 4.30 to start feeding... mine still starts around 6-615am...

I did WC this afternoon and move my bbr to the spare tank ready with thin layer of green algae. Some already completed color change, while some are still remain greenish black (BBR).

Nice babies u have there. Could share with us what are the 'things' to achieve at this stage. Post a ranchu babies' photo from a chinese website and may be could be the reference for us.
