I will do, also hope my other pcs will also improve as they grow.
They are less than 3 months old, so still got time to develop.

Thanks,

Hi old friend,

Remember "fat-fat" is no good from TVR perspective, infact it is a failure in the body shape.

Don't worry, you always have next season to come back to this marvelous hobby.

Cheers,

Default New target to push!!!

Hi to all,

With my pcs current size new target is to push feeding BW of 150g per day. Now they are taking only about 80g per day, alot more to catch up.
Need to get 5 feedings with 30g (7 cubes of Hikari BW) per feeding, meaning that have to start very early morning everyday.....not that easy for me to wakeup at 4 am.....wife will be jealous, also noisy about it.
Also to extend water cycle to 7-day instead of 4/5-day cycle.

I'll send more update on their development after 3-4 weeks. Hope for better.

Cheers,

Eu,

I can't follow the same since we got toilet attached to our bedroom, but my tanks are outside the house on the balcony. That is reason is no good for me.
Best reason (only if she awake & noisy about it) as for now is this: "I can't sleep and need some fresh air". So best to try sleep early.

Cheers,

Guys,

I do have this issue too.. hehhe... I guess everyone has the same old story...

I'm thinking IF we time the auto feeder to feed at 4 and BW starts at 6. Does it make a difference? Need to relay this question to the higher level and see if it is possible. If it does, makes all 3 parties happy. (Wife, meself and the fish) Triple win situation.

Will keep you guys posted on this issue...

By the way, CR,
How do you feed your BW? Dump in all 7 in one go or piece by piece? I reckon piece by piece and give interval about 2-3 min will get better result.

Cheers.

What is the digestion time required for the pellet? This is possible if it is less than 1 hour. Also how much can they take? Does this pelletfood give better or similar push to the body shape. I believe the curent objective is to push the stomach shape while naturally increasing their size. Shape is the main aim, not just the size.

Today I started to push further, they take 8 cubes (about 30g) of BW within 1 hour. I feed 4 cubes at start then another 4 cubes when they finished the first 4 cubes.

For today: 4 feedings of 30g = 120g per day
I will try to wake up early to get 5 feedings = 150g

No feeding of pelletfood

Cheers,

I think pallet food will take about 1.5 to 2 hours for digestion. Much longer than blood worm.

For shaping the body, definitely blood worm will be the better choice. But i THINK the pallet has better nutrition. (That's I'm refering to Ayu and Masu). Need to confirm with LiewKun.

The Japaneses that I know are mostly giving 100% blood worm diet. Some may give pallet food during the final feeding of the day.

Note:
Sufficient digestion will bring better result. No matter how much the fish eats, if digestion is poor. It will do no good.

Cheers.
