Default New Thai goldfish shipment

On Wednesday,Arowana Aquarium brought in the following:-
showclass tosakin(tosai)
showclass topview ranchu(tosai)
AAA sideview ranchu(black baby)
AAA black ranchu(black baby)
A sideview(oya)
oranda(red and white,black)

About the orandas I did not pay much attention.
The showclass tosakins are good.
The showclass ranchu are ok,with 1 or 2 particularly exceptional
The black ranchu are very black, however not many with desirable body shape
The AAA sideview babies have very very good potential...some if kept well can be groomed to be showclass
The A oya ranchus are very good...quite a few can pass off as higher grade fish...
I myself got a showclass topview ranchu and selected 2 AAA sideviews...and in 2 weeks time when I go back to KL to collect them,I may consider getting more since they would have been quarantined already...

guy, do u think the price is rite?

RM550 for the so call showclass topview ranchu(tosai) 3"-4"
RM150 for the 1-1.5" sideview ranchu.

for the top view one i don't think it's showclass fishes, so so body shape and color only, fews of em can not even classify as AAA class!

and the side view one, i would say too pricey... i bought so many same quality fishes for not more than rm20! no joke same body but batter color.

no offence, just my personal opinion.

kaka,I agree on the top views...most may seem not qualified for show class...but the one I picked was the only one that qualified I think...squarish head, cylindrical body, tail that is even,is sakura tail, open and closes not too stiffly yet not too soft, quite thick peduncle, thick back, wide eye width, very powerful and graceful swimming style...plus it was the first choice...did you see it? It should be in the pond with the tosakins...it is the only fish that I would say is showclass based on all criteria...I would have bought more if there were others that really qualify...I think Jeff needs some more practice in the art of top view ranchu...
About the sideview...dude,I have bought Thai sideview last time at the same price this size and grade...and dude...the fish grew and evolved into a showclass...it beats any China ranchu I have encountered...but sadly it was recently eaten by an animal that attacked my pond...so now I am busy trying to catch the culprit...from what I see, actually colour at this size a bit cha is normal...after all they just changed colour from black baby if you notice, and Thai fish colour usually intensifies as they grow...

Whoa,dude...look at the site...the red ranchu...power...I think I will ask to exchange with my previous choice if fish still available and Jeff don't mind...but only if from Thailand...from Japan then I cannot consider because I have not much time to quarantine Jap fish...Thai fish quarantine very short time only...
