I am agreed with what cminghan said. Don't try to mix all kind of fishes together. Not all the fishes you like and can be mixed. You need to know their character, water condition requirement and habbits. Otherwise, you gonna kill the fishes. |

today i purchased two pairs of gouramis, a blue dwarf pair which arent verry well, BUT i did get a pair of gold (i think thats what theyre called) gouramis with a dark spot on the base of there rear fin , they are bright yellow in colour and are realy nice to watch, if you mail me at dan@menaiview.com i can try and take a photo for you.

from what I've experienced keeping cichlids and gouramis in the same tank, it's usually better to keep cichlids that are smaller than gouramis to help prevent bickering, also water chemistry needs for both need to be the same. kribinsis, rams and apistogramas usually go fine with gouramis except some of the much smaller ones like honey gouramis and croaking gouramis.... hope that was a lil help!
