Default Breeding swordtail HELP!!!!

My female swordtail had been pregnant for a week, and until today I actually see little fry coming out!

I had already seperated the female into a net breeder and for the whole day, my fish had been swimming funny (as in tail pointing up most of the time). Is this normal?

How long is this breeding process going to last?

And I saw 5 fry today...but they all died...is there something I did wrong? (I did seperated the fry from the mother and others)

What should I do now and how long should I leave the female sword in the net breeder???

Thanks SO MUCH!

you can try green water....means you take a pot of water....and put it under the sun light....then you will get full of green algea in the water for few days...about a week maybe.
actually this kind of fry they will start to eat normal tetra food.....if you still find the food is too big...use something to make the food more fine.

Normally i didnt seperate the mother fish from the fry. Try not to do so before 2 weeks they just born. You can get any pellet...just crash them into powder form and feed will do. 2 times per day and dont over feed.

I fed my swordtail frys with frozen brine shrimp purchased from local fish shop. It cost RM1.50 per pack, cheap and convenient.
