yaya true also .. but cardinal growth rate is pretty slow yeah ? and most of the cardinal in market is soooo small & expensive...

well, i bought 5 cardinals once ago , 1 died until now but as for neons, i hv already bought the 2nd batch of 20 of them .. hehe .. and the neons are getting fewer and fewer ... lol

not quite, i did bought some at 3/4" they grew to about 1.5" in a few months.. maybe their growth was stunted. dunno about singapore but here, the LFS said theyre from china.. and the most of the neons looks deformed. I read somewhere that theyre overdosed with antibiotics to increase the survival rate of the neons when theyre traveling from farm to lfs. which causes long term damage to their health.

yes there is .. conclusion is bloat/infected , maybe caused by overfed ...cos i noticed that my neons like to choose the biggest frozen bloodworms to eat ... haha small small one they dun wan.. so i think this could be the reason .. and it's dead :>

i think in the future i'll buy more cardinal instead of neons .
