Default Fancy Guppy Show

Need your advice, what kind of pellets/Flakes do you feed your guppies?
Do you concentrate on Hikari brand or others?.
Is it necessary to cover the tank with dark background?
I have a tank 1 feet x 1 feet x 1 feet custom made and still bare/clear glass.
What type of filter you use? Which one is better, filter box with cotton wool inside or sponge filter.

I used filter box but my tank become slimy very fast. Do you have a way to settle it.

Please pm me your Blue Grass price. Really nice. Is it s train you get from Japan?

I am not a guru nor an expert in guppy, just a hobbyist, i am learning about guppy from books or internet...

frankly speaking, guppy is fish that can easily adopt to environment... what you need to concern is salt water and disease... don't simply mix lfs bought guppy with guppy in your house, try to quarantine new fish, bcos they might be disease carrier(so do in opposite way)... whenever there is major water change, add salt, not more than 1%... just my 2 cents worth experience...
