Yeah I know that place. Very messy-everything the people, the shop, the merchandise. The electronics there are cheap too but mostly counterfeit products (pasar malam). It's called Jalan Pasar. I think that's why it's really like the pasar. Yes they have alot of fishes but mostly in poor conditions subjected to tremendous stress. This is the only place in KL where you see fishes packed into plastics ready for sale. The fish will be stressing themselves until a good samaritan rescues them from their misery. I've even seen fishes died under these condition without the seller realising it. So you don't have much of a choice. If there's only 1 fish you liked in the bunch you have to take the whole bunch-its prepacked.

actually the seller did notice those dead fish. Just that they dont bothered much about guppies because since guppies are low budget longkang fish which can sell only 50cents per guppy.Anyways u can juz buy like a pair.Do u know how to go to that place?I juz got an info that it is like near to berjaya times square in pudu.

Emmm....I meant the dead fishes inside the prepacked packages not the ones floating inside the tanks or submerged at the bottom.

If you know Berjaya Times Square easy lor. It's just on the same road basically. OK coming from Pudu Jail just go along the road, pass Berjaya Times Square, u'll see traffic lights ahead go straight there'll be some shops both left and right a little sloping uphill, I think there's a school there (can't remember too long already never use that route.) go straight somemore you'll come to a T junction I supposed, turn left wallaaa all the electronics shop. Find a parking space n walk.

I'm Adrian and stays in Ipoh. A beginner who has been rearing guppies bought from LFS on and off for 1 years. Currently only have 5 pairs of 'normal' bought from LFS guppies. Have plans to start getting those fancy quality ones.

Hope to have more responses here, especially if there are any Ipoh people. All guppy fans are welcomed, especially those seasoned experienced ones.

I suggest you go to Aquatic International at Kg. Melayu Subang after the Subang Airport. They have quite nice strain, male and female.
If you lucky sometime they have also RREA (Real Red Eye Albino).
The price range from RM1.00 to RM2.50 depend to the size but they almost have gred AA and AAA size.

Hehe tats very difficult to find. Try to recollect the direction. Go straight the airport road.....pass all the terminals until a T junction turn left go straight and you'll be able to see the signboard right??

Actually I never been there before......
