Ok, just to clarify with you. Do the water seems to be infected/cloudy? Do you measure the pH of the origin water and your tank water? If so, what's the reading? Stress could possible happen after 2 or 3 days; I've seen so many cases like this.. the fish bought back and stay healthy for 2 3 days, then suddenly all become very weak and die one by one in the following days.

there is no problem using hangon filter for small tanks but not for large tanks. Tanks with 12gallons above is not suitable to use hangon filter anymore. The deeper your tank, the more useless hangon filter is.

Luckily LFS guppies are quite cheap. If not I might have burnt almost 1k in my pocket. Still trying......so hope you to!!!!
The present generation of guppys are not very hardy (maybe the way they were raise to grow to a big size with big tail). I have been keeping guppies or my life and the small type just thrive in any water condition that other fish will not. But now when I bought the present generation, they dont even last a month!

Now it seems easier to keep goldfish than fancy guppy.

This is what I'm worried.. I have Gold fish too, they seems much easy and stronger than guppy now. Why? Blame to those seller/distributer/breeder, all this ppl only see $$, care who, as long as sold out. Weak, infected, deformed.. just sale. That's why we are here to encourage forming a very 1st Malaysia Guppy community ~ guppy club. By sharing knowledge, information on keeping and breeding guppy and to distribute the quality and healthy guppy to Malaysia guppy fans. Don't give up, ok!

wont give up on guppies.I suggest buying marine 88 guppies thought they are also selling rejected ones but their guppy is quite healthy. Most of the other lfs guppies are very unhealthy. Most of the guppies are rejected ones sold juz to earn some bucks. So far most of my guppies bought from marine 88 doesnt died easily..
