Shudders to think what ppl's idea of "species defferential" is on this forum. Poecilia sp "Endlers" is NOT your common feeder fish guppy. They breed thru.. ie they babies all look similar to their parent fish where as the wild Poecilia reticulata throws a whole lot of variation in pattern/colour in their fry. The colour on true P. endlers is also a lot brighter. Below is a good read on the nitty gritty of P.endlers by the man who collected it. I still have a long way to upkeep my knowledge about guppies. So the sifus has spoken. So the point here endlers is endlers and longkang guppies is wild guppies. But can't wild guppies also breeds true? Hmmm a point to ponder......anyway I just like to give some points for debate so that this forum will not be darn quite like last week......... |
