actually there is a way to speed up the delivering of the fries.Try to rise the temperature to 28. Put the pregnant fish in a big tank with some floating plants.Put the tank in some place with not too much light.

u need to reconfirm from when the guppy is pregnant.since when?but it mayb hard to track back since u didnt notice about it.i guess u juz try what i suggested.Whether have the fries develope or not, it still needs to be alone to rest and deliver.Make sure u change only 50% of the water and not whole. And next time keep track of when your guppy last deliver.

when a fish is sick/pregnant it is advisable not to change all of the water.Unless u are pretty confident of controlling your water cycling. When u change the whole water, u need to shift the fish into a temporary place to change the water in the tank which will disrupt her delivering period. The best tank setting to keep a pregnant guppy is in a tank with no sand bottom and only filter.u can use some water sucking device to suck all the fish's waste at the bottom.

Now now. Do you know the quality of your tap water? pH, kH etc..... No point keep changing water if the water is not suitable. I find our tap water is too soft for guppies. It's actually quite suitable for discus.....thats why the discus forum is thriving......

i need not transfer the fish to other tank cos normally i change about 80-90% of water in my tank so it still hav a little of water for it....

regarding the pH of my tap water i'm not very sure but normally i would take the water from our house water storage tank from the roof top.....not directly from the tap

so i think it is quite safe cos water from the storage tank has been quarantine for some time.....izit rite

correct me if i'm wrong

i guess the best way to keep safe water is to get a bucket and put some air pump in it. Let it pump air for 3 days. U can use ph test kit and also chlorine test kit to test whether your water is safe.

huh...where got so much space n time to store the water n air pump it for 3 days.....

my tank need at least 4 bucket of water to change 50% of its water inside..

so far i only quarantine the water for a few hours....n it seems fine too...but of course i add in anti-clorine
