hm????? 50% water need 4 bucket of water??? how big is your fish tank?
If u are using a big tank i suggest u keep planted tank which will lessen the work of cycling water.upgrade your filter to eheim canister filter. If not for big tanks u wanna to try cycling water is damn tough.Unless u split it into a few section.

Hihi Vincor the right question is how BIG is his bucket I have a 6 gallon bucket which fills up a footer tank just nice. Where as I use a 0.5 gallon bucket to scoop and transfer guppies if required. So if I use the 0.5 gallon bucket I have to fill 6 buckets for 50% change which looks like alot....

OK Seriously. NewageDevil. Our storage tanks are constantly filled with new supply as and when you use the water. So it does contain some residual chlorine. Just add the antichlorine to be on the safe side. I would advise you to get the test kits. At least you would reduce the unknown factors which you have put under control.

well i dunno how many gallon can my tank feed in

but the size of my tank is 2 feet width n length n also 1½ feet height

how much gallon of water can feed it??? i oso dunno..hahaha didnt count

it is a DIY tank actually....did it myself
i'm now using a filter n i think it is a canister filter

if i put in more plant....i think it will make my water changing process to be more difficult...wouldn't it be???

hm? oh,2 feet .I thought it was at least 3-4feet.. Well in that case plants or without plants is optional.About water cycling with plant is easier than water cycling without plant.Because usually the fish waste and additional waste food are absorb and convert into nitrate which is used by this plants. Why need to cycle water is mainly because to remove the amount of nitrate in the water. But now this plants use it up as fertilizer. Regarding the canister filter, i am not sure about using canister filter in a 2 feet tank, but seems it would be a bit powerful waterflow rate for guppies to stay in there. Not much pple keep guppies in 2 feet above tanks. Usually pple keep them in mutiples of 1 and 1/2 inch tanks, using sponge filters or undergravel filters.I do have another suggestion for filters, something different then sponge filters and undergravel suggestion, but the guide is abit long and it is in chinese. The guide is done by me so feel free to ask anything u dont understand.

what ever filter u using, just make sure the filter flow rate does not exceed 300l/hr. If not it will be extremely powerful turbulence in your aquarium for your guppy.U dont need to make sponge filter. Just buy.It is call Bio Foam.As mention powerful turbulence in the aquarium can kill the guppies due to they unable to adept to fast flowing waters.
