Default Albino Grass Ah Qua

This is the reason why I am suggesting for a 2nd trip. I suspect at least one of the females I got from Lai is abnormal. I only noticed the behavior this morning together with the demise of both of my albino red snakeskin that was house together with the females. One of the females I noticed chase around the other females including my 3/4 black female with the thrusting action which males usually does to females.

My poor albino males must have been died of anal rupture Seriously I was too tired the last 2 days to actually monitor the new pairs. I thought it was stressed earlier as I already said in the other thread my males was not doing very well (albeit being back hoed by females at a frequent rate).

But we'll see whether these 2 females were Ah Kua or not in 2 weeks time. Thats what I predicted for their drop judging from the size of their bellies. If by then there's not drop then it might be Ah Kua.

I will try to upload the females picture this week for discussion.

Default Tubifex Feeding

Hihi this is one of the downside of feeding tubifex if I remembered correctly. Bloated means the fishes had worms inside their stomach just like in human when you eat contaminated food or unkept personal hygiene. Tubifex is well knowned for parasite, worms and desease carriers. So if you are sure your fish is bloated then this is most likely the cause.

tubifex and bloodworm are relatively in the same ditch. So it's also quite dirty. You didn't feed them but the breeders did mah.....worms already accumulating since then

For my case, i separate the males and female. But seems the super white male was pretty much attracted to the mozaic. It follows the mozaic around 24 hrs and do guppy dance. The female was fine but right after i feed them a couples of tubifex worm, they started to snatch food. One of the female chased the other one around fiercely.

I lose RREA German Yellow Tailed Swallow female last night, left one still doing well. All male are abnormal, in quarantine now. The strange thing is other strain that I bought from Lai are very aggresive, they eat whatever I feed.

I'm not sure why this happenned, if 2nd trip on then I'll bring over my test kit to verify their water condition.

for my case, my super white male currently refuse to eat anything. I tried tubifex, flakes , Freeze dried Brine shrimps.I even separate the male alone in a small fish tank. Add in Duck weeds ,aeration and use black plastic backs to wrap the surrounding only leaving the front uncovered.Still it juz ignore the food. For the past 4 days it hasnt eaten anything. I wonder what had tony feed him.I hope it is not feeding on algaes all the while.. For the rest is fine still surviving, but still on quarantine because i suspect tony feed his guppies with tubifex , so i had to qurantine it for a while before mixing it with my guppies. For the females, i place it in the new tank i juz setup. Currently will try to qurantine every guppy i had and feed them tubifex worms to boost their immune. So in future they had resistance to eating "drain Food" without problem.

I suspect tony feed his guppy with tubifex worms. And somemore , his guppies lived on algaes too.By the way, the first day u brought home, did u mix the water which u got from tony's farm with ur current aquarium water? It's a must to mix the water so to let the fish able to adept to the new water condition.
