Hello Kamalruz, great to hear your fish is doing fine... wish they will stabilise and carry on in your hand...

About the auto water changing system, I am not building a auto one, but semi-auto... and the system is not for me as well, it is for my friend... he is quite crazy about Guppy now, so I propose him to have one semi-auto system...

Why not introduce him to fully auto rather than semi-auto. Find that very convenience and time saver. Now days it take only 1 hours to clean my 2 tank size 3'X1'. Now I adopt one a month changes the water tank , that also
depend on water conditions or just cleaning the filter compartment only.

Hi Kamalruz,

Fully auto like yours is good for maintenance but bad for desease control since the water is recirculated to all the other compartments. Unless something like the SG's Doc's setup which will cost more because he's utilising individual compartment and a UV sump to sterilise the water. So the water will circulate directly from tank to sump rather than tank to tank then to sump.

Semi-auto system like the Taiwanese also quite good and requires minimal effort for water change. The only downside is you must have individual filters or more water change if run without filters.

Kekeke the MB looks same meh......looks quite diff. in terms of coloration to me hahaha. Glad to hear your fish are doing well. Mine spawned about 1 week or so ago. Got lar 20-30 fries swimming somewhere with the parents kekeke lazy to scoop out.

Hey, bro, as I mentioned in the other forum, try to put them in darker condition... you will see their colour turn into darker colour...

Kamauruz, I actually agreed with Galactuz that using a fully automated system is not a very GOOD idea to rear Guppy...

But you mentioned you have 1 filter system for 1 2ft tank, right?? So, if you have 12 2ft tanks, you will have 12 separated filter system, right?? If so, it should be fine... bcos even got infection, only 3 compartment will be infected...

No , for 3'X1' tank only 1 filter compartment and 1 motor compartment. What
Galactuz says is right but every problem should have a solution.

Now I'm thinking how to improve the auto system to more effectively and counter measure to be taken if the disease outbreak encounter.
