Inspired by some of the most prolific Japanese creation. I decided to attempt my own project of Galaxy Blue Grass. Although the result is discouraging. I think I might breed it for another 2-3 generation to see whether it will achieve my goal of Galaxy Blue Grass.
Kekeke this was supposed to be my secret project So some background information. Male Galaxy x Female Blue Grass. F1 turns out fairly well in terms of form but body patterns and coloration is quite a dismay. Maybe it's still young. All my projects displayed here are juveniles about 8-9 weeks old. I will give them some time to display their best coloration. |

Hey sifu NobuNaga,
This is why guppy is so special. Only true guppy hobbyist know what I'm blabbering about kekeke. You cannot do it with any other fish and/or as fast. Gus-gus, You should see the actual Galaxy Blue Grass. It's so mesmerizing. My jaw kind of fell off kekeke. Mine still far from perfection. It has at least 3 gene combination namely grass (tail), zebrinus (the vertical Y shape you mentioned, it's actually snakeskin) and also platinum (the shiny head and body). |

Hello, Gus Gus, I show you how a competition grade Galaxy Blue Grass looks like(this is not my fish)...
But Galactuz is doing well but he has long way to go before he can reach competition grade. As bro Galactuz said, although creating new guppy strain is difficult and time consuming, but it is fun... Actually this task require a lots of knowledge which our Galactuz is GOOD in as well. Solute to you again, bro Galactuz... |

Woah nice fish sifu NobuNaga. But you should see the one the garnered 3rd Best of Show World Guppy Championship 2003 in Brazil if I'm not mistaken. That specimen was marvellous........
Let me checked if I can get a picture of that fish later. |
