A month ago we set up our tank. It is 61 x 36 x 31 cm. To date we have: 3 Bala Sharks, 1 Angelfish, 3 Mickey Mouse Platys, 3 Guppies, 1 Female Fighter, 1 Albino Catfish 6 Neon Tetras. I have little faith in the advice the pet store gave me so anything you can tell me/advise me on would be much appreciated. Does that see mlike too many fish? Or maybe some species are not suitable together? We're having no problems really, no casualties, all seem happy. The only issue we have is that one of the guppies is a bit of a bully towards the platies. Thanks in advance! Last edited by carben : 01-04-2007 at 05:54 AM. |

3 Bala Sharks,
1 Angelfish, 3 Mickey Mouse Platys, 3 Guppies, 1 Female Fighter, 1 Albino Catfish 6 Neon Tetras. I can't remember, bala shark is silver shark right? Anywho, Silver/Bala sharks live well in small groups, I have found, that's fine. Platies like to pair so good. Guppies like to pair so good. Ah, albino catfish, i presume a cory cat? if not please notify. Corydoras Catfish develop bonds with other individual cory's of their own kind, i would recomend possibly buying one or two more? tetras like to shoal so it looks like a good setup to me. |
