Hey
I recently purchased 3 platies about a month ago. 2 females 1 male. They were all acting normally up until yesterday. My one female platy keeps on swimming up to my female guppy and turning on its side showing its belly to the guppy... the guppy will start nipping at the platies belly (where the gravid spot is (dunno if it is called a gravid spot on a platy :P)) and the platy then swims away and the guppy then chases the platy for a while trying to nip at the same place each time. Does anyone know why? Its like the platy is taunting the guppy or something...
