how to keep flowerhorn nice?

i c some ppls flower horn very red with head kok...how to make it like that?

If the genes hv ,there's no problem feed colour enhancer food and live shrimps.
If the fish don't hv red genes and kok...waste of time.

Bearing in mind that feed too much on live shrimps and colour enhancer food might shorter the fish life span due to high fat and protein contain.

ususally when or around what size can we c whether the gen is good or not. as when i bought the fish in small size.....

size wise very hard to say some are late bloomers... but normally around 3inch +- i wud say... it would have already shown its potential....
color wise... mayb urs dun have red base or wat... water quality oso very important....
