here what i recommend:

Pellet type:
Sanyu "Aweek red". From CSL Thean Yeang, Penang.
Grandsumo (visit flowerfish.com)
ChingMix (never try but i read a lot of positive review and good feedback after used it on their fish. It's made in indonesia but got popularity over USA) visit here: chingmix.com - Home.

I'm also using old type pellet that popular in the era of flowerhorn back in 2000 - 2003 in malaysia. Forgot already the name. But noticed it's made in japan.
