Hi. What is CRS? Do you mean crystal red shrimp or cherry red shrimp? Is cherry red shrimp the same as red cherry shrimp (Neocaridina denticulata sinensis)?
Anyone know?

Yeah, CRS is meant to mean Crystal Red, not Cherry Red. I believe both Red Cherry and Cherry Red is one and the same, though I must say I've only heard of Red Cherry but not Cherry Red!

Cheers,

KG

I've only heard of red cherry shrimp too but since only CRS was used, thought I'd double check.
Thanks.

Crystal red shrimp only available in SG...Don't know any lfs in kl/pj willing to take the risk to import them.

Perhaps, someone can goto sg n buy. then breed them. sure can earn big money.

Anyone know any Sg fish farm that has CRS and the address?

As my bro will go to Sg this christmas and will ask him to check on the price and bring some for me.

Anyone know? Anyone know?

Any gurus here had experience of keeping CRS?

How tough is CRS?

From my experience,

The most tough is Yamato,
then Red cherry, blue, tiger, red nose.

Is CRS worst than red nose?

For me, wood/banana is the toughest follow by Blue, tiger, red cherry, bee, yamato, rudolf (Red Nose). Wood is very tough and can outlast all my other shrimps but are very very sensitive to CO2. 2 of my wood died when my regulator went nuts and produced more CO2 than normal and another jump out and was eaten by rats! Put the rest into non CO2 tank and they are doing just dandy. Yamato tends to just disappear and not seen again and they do not display any sign b4 they just die!!!!

Cheers,

KG
