Default Unbelievable Apple Snails!

My dad has a rectangular pond outside his home and he was having a hard time cleaning it weekly cos the water will just turn greenish and the wall covered with green slime.. clean it up and 3 days down the road it will be all green again.. the anti algae solution doesnt help.. he then bought a black filter box (made in germany?! said the towkay) for RM300 and it solved the greenish water problem but not the green slime covering all 4 walls of the pond..

we then paid xian leng shah alam a visit and return home with 5 apple snails (about the size of a 50 cent coin) and 12 chinese algae eaters (1" long)..
all 5 snails went into the pond while 4 algae eaters went into the inner aquarium and the rest into the outside pond.. the pic was taken exactly 6 days after the snails was released! absolutely clean! my dad wont need to break his back to clean the pond anymore

too bad i did not take a picture of the pond before the clean up crew was added..

I have the exact pond at home and the same problem happen to me. The water will get greenish after 2 weeks coz of the sun (so the shopkeeper told me) and he suggested i buy some UV light with installation which cost about rm300.Mind telling what kind of brand and do u have website of that filter?and about those snails,do other fish eat them?coz im planning to mix em with my koi's
