Haha...one fan is enough...2 fans dun effect much at all u know. Just a simple DC 120mm diameter fan is more than enough. An additional fan will only cause more evaporation but not necessary a lower temperature. Mine's at 27C...enough liao...work everyday topping up the water.

Ph also i never check...i see water dirty i change...water a bit greeenish too yuck but baby cherries are everywhere...they are simple to keep shrimps...last counted i think between 50-60 kids liao.

Check ur powerhead wether issit generating heat. I shut down my eheim liao. Drop 1C

why i usually do is set the pH to be the same as the shrimp tank you bought it. let them adapt to the new environment with minimum pH shock. i usually set it to neutral or slightly lower. they breed really fast.. i am not using any filter, air pump, just place the tank outside with some sunlight. they love to eat algae..

one thing i really want to find out from the experts here, are shrimps like guppies? i mean once the females carry eggs, they continue that for few times even without mating with males?
