did anyone heard this shrimp before?
in singapore they do sell this shrimp but in KL area where can i get it ?

No. Never see it in KL. If yes, the price also sky high. I can ask the lfs to import it...if you want. But be ready for the sky high price.

The latest shrimp in KL is the zebra shrimp. It is in red stripes.

Yeah heard of those long ago but still cant be found here yet........... well, at least not by me anyway.

Beware of Blue shrimp. Most of them are dyed and will turn colourless in time. There are of course actual blue shrimps but it is difficult to tell them apart.

Color appearing on shrimp is depending on your water condition. There are too many things you need to take care. Like temperature, Amonia level, PH level, KH level etc.

Just like Kimco said, the blue shrimp color will turn into colorless in time. I personally saw this in my friend's tank. But....it never happen to me. My blue shrimp still blue. And i found any funny thing is...My cherry shrimp...they are colorless in my tank. But after swaping them into other tank. The color turn into red. Otherwise, it is just look like smaller size of yamato only.

The Zebra shrimp i bought...kinda tinny. The stripes on their body much more compact than tiger. Honestly, it is just look like tiger but with more red/brown color bars.

Beside NA, you can goto Melvin place. Pdn Indah area. 012 2322726. He will be at home at nitetime only. Call him before you go. Speak in Cantonese.

Quite easy to start a brood with just one shrimp and some CRS, they are same species with CRS with dominant black.
