Do you have moss ? Crevices ?

If yes, then there won't be much problem. Anyway the frys will be too tiny for you net all of them up. Usually if there are eggs, they will hatch but sometimes due to lack of care, it will be lost. Keep water clean and all will be ok.

The subject said : how do i best breed my fish? and there talking about shrimp?

what type of shrimp do you have? If you are having Yamato, Red nose/Long nose or banana wood shrimp. They shrimp larvae will survive in brackish water. The rest are able to survive in fresh water. Algae is their food. And you can feed them with algae waffer.

hi! if you're new to shrimp ... as how i've learnt is to pay attention to the water parameters bcos they are extremely sensitive. otherwise, your pregnant shrimp may even lost its eggs. i normally look at ph and ammonia, although other parameter are important too depending on your tank setup.
once this is established, maybe then you can explore further how the breed them.

my 2 cents....

hi. i think everyone would agree with me that the unknown cause of dead are due to the water parameters. i encourage you to do research and understand the nature of the shrimp before starting a new batch ... shrimp are easy once you get the hang of it and you'll enjoy taking care of them.
