Hi Loong...
Miss u for almost a month... Hahaha..
Well keeping crs is not really hard...

1- Temperature (of cos lower better) but i am using fans only...
2- Filteration (clean water condition is the best) i am using IOS tank filteration
3- PH between 6.0 - 6.8 (lucky my tap water measure only 6.3

Till the day u keeping them alive stable then go for better grade..

Guys, just want to introduce jojoe to you. Jojoe have a lot of experience with this shrimp compared to us. He is from Singapore and bred these shrimps. I was at his place and he is into the higher grades already.

I think order of importance/difficulty is like this:-
1) we have to keep them alive,
2) then breed them
3) then let's talk about grades and keeping the grade stable. (of course we can dream about it first).

I think (3) is hard to do because grade do detriorate in not good conditions. I have a few friends who can do (1) and (2) but their grade B become grade C after some time and grade C become grade D.

I think I am at (1) only and struggling. Sigh.

hi fellow members..

I was observing my pregnant bumble bee shrimps when I noticed that one of my CRS shrimps is also carrying eggs...yippee! Hopefully after chinese new year I'll be seeing both bumble bee and CRS shrimplets..

My CRS obtained from YTL... prices reasonable and grade is acceptable for the price. "beggar can't be chooser"...hahaha...

From 15 pcs of CRS, one is pregnant and counting(another one is suspected to be in the early stage of pregnancy).

since my tank has so many hiding space...finally last nite I saw 2 small bumble bee shrimplets about 2-3mm...they are really cute with very well defined white and black bar... they look best at this size as I understand the bigger they get, the less prominent the bars will be.

Maybe later tonite if I can catch them out in the open again. Furthermore, my photography skills really sux, using only 2MegaPix canon camera.

If not, I'll post the picture when they are bigger.
