Default Pictures of my favourite Cherry Shrimp, Dario Scarlet & Crypto Minima

Hi guys, this the picture of my cherries in my shrimp tank.
I have also recently added in some rare cryptocoryne minima, they are collected from Northern Peninsula area.

And another picture.
If you notice the crypts are standing or erecting, it is because i have just turned on the lights. When i have sufficient lights for the plants, they will lean back.

And these are my Dario Scarlet that are living peacefully with my Cherry Shrimps. The Dario Darios are very small size. They are the perfect tank mate for shrimps. The shrimps body are larger than Dario's mouth.

I have 5 Dario Scarlet in my shrimp tank.

Default Tank Parameters

Littar, what size is your tank? Is it CO2 supplemented? How about temperature?

Thanks.

Well, i keep this shrimp/dario dario tank of mine in my computer room. The room is quite stuffy without any ceiling fan or air conditioning.

I just switch on my table fan whenever i am in the computer room. And i work almost 10 hours inside the room daily, man. So my tank average temp is about 30 degree celcius.

It is a miracle my cherry shrimps are doing very well here. And my moss grows like crazy. I only turn on the tank lights whenever i feel like watching the cutesy. Sometimes, i can go for days without turning on the lights. I have only java moss and taiwan moss and winelov inside the tank. The crypts minima are my new addition.

I am planning to have pressurized CO2 for this tank, to grow the plant even better. FYI, this is a 2 feet tank. I have been keeping the tank for about 4/5 months now.

30 Degrees and everything fine? Amazing. If the mosses and stuff growing good, I'd leave it as it is... pressurized co2 might be better off spent for a tank with more demanding plants. Mosses and crypts don't really need pressurized co2.

okay, my apologies
You're looking for females?
The last time I was at Hanyang Klang, there were about a dozen females still around.
