Default Freshwater/brackish water crab

Hi...

Has anyone ever keep freshwater/brackish water crab before. do this creature herbivorous? do they eat green plants?.... i kept 1 brackish water crab in my freshwater tank. body size about less than an inch. my bro-in-law went netting (menjala ikan) at a rivermouth smwhere here and caught this fella. kesian, i put it in my aq. thought he will live there peacefully.

At first it quite shy and digs burrow underneath my driftwood and makes it its abode. after about a week, i found torn leaves, new shoots of anubias nana, nuphar japonica (noooo!!!! ), cabomba green are being eatened/cut. i think this new inhabitant is the culprit. but i fed it well and it eats greedily... granule/live worms... personal mouth-feed with tweezer, i tell you. all finished clean... but why still hungry and destroy my plants!!!... argghhhh ..... i want to throw it in the stream behind my house already. ungrateful piece of burden!!.... can't stand this anymore when every morning wake up and see bits of leaves floating around... who wants it? i give FOC, but please make sure u can keep it well. even i'm angry but still 'menegakkan' animal rights...
