Default Good Beginner Inverts?

I'm still in the newbie phase of the aquarium scene, but I've successfully (so far knock on wood) established a 29 freshwater tank for about 5-6 weeks now, doing about 25% water changes once a week. So far I've aquired 5 neon tetras, 1 fancy tail makle guppy, 2 male sword tails, 1 rainbow shark, and I plan on adding 2-3 clown loaches this weekend. I added one live plant about 4 weeks ago, an anubus nana (spelling?) and it seems to be doing really well also. I have a gravel/pebble substrate, with multiple fake plants, a plastic cave and drift wood piece. I've been contemplating adding a couple of inverts to the tank, and I've always been captivated with arthropods. I've started to do some research on various shrimp and other inverts, what would you all suggest that would mesh well with my tank conditions, care knowledge, and existing fish species? I would really like some sort of extra flare to my tank, and I think an invert would be the best way! Let me know what you think!

Set up is as follows...
29 gallons, air stone, tube style carbon mechanical filter, glass heater, overhead flourescent lamp (stock, nothing special).

Thanks for your ideas and suggestions!
-Outi

Bro, this section is for Invertebrates, mean other thing then fish or plant such as snaill.......but its ok.

I would suggest you re-post it again to the plant section, if you plan on planting, or fish section if you want to enquiry bout fish.

But in the meanwhile, you are looking forward more on planting or fish? Because not all type of fish are suitable with plant, as they may eat up live plant.

Here is some friendly opinion;

If you want to have some live plant, just add in few thing into your tank. You will need Co2 (can DIY and cheap), lighting and gravel (holland sand if you have budget, ADA if you got extra $$).

I m not good on shrimp, many have die on me! So this part I cannot give any advice...me not good enough....

Well, if you plan not to have live plant, you may want to consider... SNAIL. I got tank full with snail. Btw where you from? Europe?

You can look into my thread regarding to golden apple snail. If you got any question on snail, just let me know.

Thanks for the advice...I'm really interested in the easily cared for inverts, especially those along the crustacean and arthropod lines (lobsters, crayfish and the like). Soryr if my post was misleading, I was hoping to get some experienced advice on the types of invertebrates that would mesh well with my tank conditions!

Thanks again!

Well, i have tried prawn, lobster and snail. The prawn, i set it free to the river because found out they being taking my neon tetra as snack!

For my lobster, same thing also, but it die off after half of year. Not sure the reason.

Then I never bring in anymore prawn or lobster after i got snail. Because previously i found out they being picking up the snail.

Now I just got two apple snails, now they have breed, bout 40 baby snails. Well, snails are easy to take care and stay well with my fish; neon tetra, clown loach, alga eater shrimp.

Look into my apple snail thread to for more details.
