Yup, the black cherry shrimp is pregnant.
But need time to wait for baby shrimps hatching.

I find through the net, it's called black cherry shrimp.
look exactly same with RCS, only the colour is black,
ppl mentioned it's the natural colour for cherry shrimp.
Sometimes brown as well.

Anyone hv any idea about the BCS?

Is it the same with the Blue shrimp which we are able to get. Color pellet or injection. Human made.

Hi guys,
sorry for late reply...

I bought the BCS from Kian Weng Aqua, Penang.
They only sell the shrimp with the name cherry shrimp.

As I know, not much of them really in beatiful black colour.
As I bought them, only 2 of my mature BCS is in the beatiful black.
Another two start to convert into black after 2weeks stable in my planted tank. Previously, both are in dull brown.

I dun hv stock in the moment. But the BCS is getting pregnant.
If the eggs are hatching I'll try to sold out some of them....

the black is natural, not injection...

Sorry for interupped,

I 'm not a shrimps fancier, but just curious and want to know what is Malayan shrimp?.

I went several fountain in Selangor area and found some shrimps that hv a hairy big claws(light blue colour claws) .Some shrimps hv one side big claw and the other small. The colour of the body is light brown and with spotted black. What shrimp is this?.

Do the river shrimps and fountain shrimp are same species?.

May I know why some shrimp hv red colour even there's some other colour as well in the same location?.
