sorry for the wrong information,lamp eye wasnt a livebearers,its a egg layer,this morning i found out there is some fries over my 3 footer planted tank,i was so happy,then when i come to the office just now,feeding my cherry shirmps,there is something black moving in the nano shrimps tank.waw....is a fry.....few day before i also didnt find any fry in it,the egg should be carry along with the mosses from my 3 footer few days ago during 9/2/2005,this mean lamp eye's egg took 6 days to hatch...lucky the egg didnt ate by my shrimps...hehehe.....now my red cherry shirmp tank in my office got a free lamp eye fry and 5 cherry.......oh yeah

my lampeyes must have spawned as well as yest when i got home i saw 1 distinct blue eye fry...yes only 1. I would imagine the rest got eaten up. Separated the single fry straightaway...hope for more tonite...

lamp eye rocks !! but i can hardly find this fish in any of the LFS in jb ... i obtained them once in the LFS near my house .. but they are now out of stock :\

any idea where i can get this type of lamp eye ? thanks

The pic posted above is the Clown killie (Pseudepiplatys annulatus). A very nice fish and actually one of the few killies recommended for a planted tank. They're also easy to breed... like lampeyes.

Clown killie, can hassle Joe at Cichlids Connection to get some... hahaha....

Lamp eyes, available quite readily as well. Joe also ada jalan for these.

*he's going to be real busy looking for little fish....

Haiya, why you all so like tat one arrrrr ? When I stumble upon these, no one ask, now I gotta go back and dig summore.... -sigh- Who wants ? I don't want to hold these small fishes wan leh....

these guys are nicknamed 'rockets' rite? was looking high and low for them. saw some in restaurant display in jkt. aq benny's avatar...
heard can only keep a pair in small tank. rather aggressive towards own kind...
