Exclamation Help

i had a lryetail molly, and it died 1 day after bringing it home. we found out that this was from stress, because the fish had just gotten to the store, so it went from a tank to a bag to a tank to a bag to a new tank all in one day. well we got another one and it has been fine. but it is starting to act funny. it is swimming mostly on the bottom does not move too much. i have 2 ideas of what it might be but i wiould like some insight. we have heat issues at my house no a/c in the room of the aquarium. so the temp goes from 74F in the morning to as high as 82F in mid day. the rest of the fish are fine ( a red tail shark, dwarf gourami, a fry guppy, and a fry lyretail molly). also today is the first day i have given the fish frozen blood worms. the molly ate most of them. it may have over eaten and is feeling sick? i dont know and would like some help

Hi Josh,

Sorry to hear about your Molly.

I don't think the temp. should be the problem, the molly should be ok with what you have. It could be PH shock, sometimes it differs a lot from store to home. You can ask at the store about their PH.

Post your waterstats and tank size, maybe it has something to do with that.
