Silver Dollars

I just bought my 1st silver dollar 2 days ago and all he does is hide on the bottom of the tank(46 gal) also 2 tetras in the tank 1 black 1 red. I was thinking about adding 2 more silver dollars. Is this appropriate since I plan on adding 2 angel fish when my local pet shop gets them in this weekend. Also will silver dollars be ok eating just flakes or should I feed them something else.
