i have 2 Plecos (Hypostomus plecostomus), in my tank, those that feed on the algae and stuffs from the tank? Well, 2 nights ago i noticed it's eye blinked, which gave me a shock, i never knew fish had eyelids, then last night i looked at it again, and again it blinked at me. Weird thing was, it only blinked once. And that i'm very sure. Can these fish blink?

No, fish can't blink. I can understand the confusion though. Awhile back, I was watching my pleco, when the same thing happened-I was sure it blinked. So I went to my favorite fish store and talked to the owner. He explained to me why it has that effect. The way the fish's eye is designed, moving it around can make it look very much like it's blinking. I've seen many of my former bottom feeders "blink" too, and it had me going for awhile!
