Balloon fish, mono & plants

I have a planted aquarium... the problem is my plant's leaves have like holes in them, looks just like something bit them... small holes. I was just wandering if my ballon fish are the culprits or my mono sebaes. Anyone got an idea?

only my plants which have big leaves seem to get bitten.
