I just bought a pleco and he is about 6inches long!!!! I was wondering if he would eat my other fish i just bought. I just bought 2 red tailed sharks and 2 bala sharks that are only 1 and a half inches long i am so afraid that he will kill my babies. Is it safe to put him in my tank with my babies. Also i heard it is good to feed plecos zuchinni will it harm my babies if i was to do that. Also i heard it was good to put a piece of wood in the tank for the pleco will it ruin my babies water for them. How much bigger will the pleco grow i only have a 20gallon tank or 10 gallon tank i don't know. Oh ya i also have 2 irridecent sharks that are 4inches long will he harm those too plz will someone help me

...bala sharks get HUGE!!! What kind of pleco do you have?, if it's a common pleco your looking at about18 inches, the bala sharks, red tailed sharks, irredecent sharks are incompatable, the pleco will not harm your fish but I suggest getting a MUCH bigger tank!!!! Plecos do need driftwood as a sourse of fiber.
I suggest you start over with something a little easier like mollies and platies.
