I purchased a male and female guppie about 2 days ago. They both seemed to be doing fine in the community tank that I have until tonight. The female guppie has been lying at the bottom of the tank for the past few hours barely moving. Could she be in labor?

Is yr female guppy fat with a big black gravid spot on its belly? Usually when a female guppy is about to drop her fry, she stays at the top among floating plants if you have some.

Doesn't sound like she's about to deliver.... Either she's stressed or is ill. I can't determine what it is frm ur description. Sorry.
