Went fish-netting last week in a samml stream in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan. The aim was to get some Pearl danio and some Harlequin rasbora (& need some more Crypt). The bonus was a pair of Parosphromenus nagyi/ licorice gourami. I have always wanted these. So far these tiny fish (1 inch long) seems okay.Fins are erect, colours are good. The male took one mosquito larva per day, but I'm yet to see the female eat. They are known to be fussy eater. So, what's the best food for them? The only live food available at the moment are the mosquito larvae. Can't find any Daphnia around here.
