Default at my office..

the owner of the building i worked in has a 6ft aquarium in the lobby area.. when the tank was started, he placed 2 arapaima around 1 ft. long along with some white kalois, sarawak kalois, alligator fish and a few smaller one..

the arapaima grew very fast.. here are some pics..

any of u arapaima caretaker got this jumping problem?
i have 2 3feet arapaima that like to jump.....from the pond that is....

the ones in Aquaria KLCC are within magnified glass walls.... when they swim up to you it's like @#$%^awesome!! you can even see every detail on their scales and fins...

got one young fish about 1.5 feet, but gave it away after half a year cuz cannot stock the fish. It now lives comfortably in my friend's ten by five feet pond with tilapias and pacus...

yes, I experienced the jumping problem with my fish. When the fish reaches about 4 feet plus the jumping becomes much less...
