Unhappy Lampam Mas

hi..
i just bought 2 lampam Mas yesterday from jalan pasar.
they are the new addition to my arowana tank after i remove the blood parrot to other tank.
i noticed that once i put in the tank, these 2 fella like to chase each other and end up some of their scale are tercabut
so my question is, how many lampam mas i should put in? is it one only or i need a school of them? and i also been thinking to put red kelah together, is it possible?

they school but u dont need to get a school....
make sure they are big enough so your aro wont whack/eat them...
btw, what is your tank dimension

the arowana is about 6 inches.. they are about 4 inch. so far i dont see the aro chasing them.
BTW, my tank domension is 4X1.5X1.5.. standard size

off topic but u need a bigger tank...

those fish u r keeping need a big space....

regarding your fishes, since they are doing fine, dont worry... but prob may arise when they get bigger...

lampan and similar sized arowana?...hahaha cute combination...the lampams will drive the arowana mad...either way one of them have to go.

check this out ...this is my old Malaysian Freshwater setup...mainly Lampams . i have convert this setup to Fast Stream setup for Kelahs and Sebarau + plus some rare asian cats...but u wanna see lampams..so take a peek

hi ari,
yes, i had removed the lampam (albino tinfoil barb) to blood parrot tank.. and they are more relax now because the parrot just dont bother them..

anyway, your tank is so beautiful.. how big is it?
i wanted to have the setup like yours
