hi, i'm a newbie to the fourm.

i work at a brand new petsmart and after seeing all the different kinds of tropicals, i decided to start a small tank to see how i do. i've had a goldfish tank for almost a year now with two fantails and a red cap oranda. they are my pride and joy.

right now i have a lyretail mollie, tequila sunrise guppy, and a small cory catfish in an eclipse hex 5. i've lost several fish in this tank, and at different times. i have never once overcrowded the tank. my question, however, is could two dwarf gouramis survive in a tank like this with a cory cat? i'm getting ready to start another small desktop tank and i love dwarf gouramis.

thank you!!!

My friend had a paradice gourami and it ate the eyes out of many fish she has(still alive today but, no eyes!!!) so be careful what kind of fish you put in w/ the gouramis!

Dwarf gouramis need a minimum of 10 gallons to house a single gourami. To keep 2 in a 5g wil be disastrous.
