Can anyone tell me is this Betta male or female????

Its male i think. Females have less 'frilly' fins. Their colour are also not so vibrant.
Im not an expert but tt may be a Halfmoon betta i think.

From the look of your photo, it's a male veil tail. Anyway, it's a nice betta.

The fish you show us here probably is a young male veiltail ( VT always have only 2 rays caudal ) Hope this will help

looks like a male veiltail. only way to make sure is to clean the water and put some pieces of ketapang leaves in the water. if you see a bubble nest in the next few days then it's a male. if no bubble nest are seen then it's a female or an old male that isn't into mating anymore.
